Forde welcomes a group of students from the University of Art and Design, Lausanne, and their lecturer, Roland Früh, during an open workshop, developed by Sara De Bondt and Catherine de Smet, on the history of graphic design and its historiography. The first in a series, the workshop consists of the compilation of various materials for the publication of a reader on the history of graphic design, published by Occasional Papers, which will be launched at the St. Bride Library, London, during the conference “Graphic Design: History in the Making”, on 6th May 2011.
The workshop is followed by the launch of the second edition of The Form of the Book Book, edited by Sara De Bondt and Fraser Muggeridge.
